Has anyone ever seen this knife before?

I was browsing for stag handled traditional folders and came across this for around $100.00. It's very unique but I know it's made in China. The blade is 440C and the knife is 4" closed.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can comment , whether you own it or handled it. I can only see pictures of it.

It is a very nice knife. The blade is very usable and easy to sharpen. The stag can very from almost all white to a dark orange. Lock up is good and solid. If you like Wharncliffes, this is a nice meaty folder.

I had one. it was a nice knife. It was a 440C blade, and the thumbstud IIRC is the lock release. it locked up securely. the handle seemed a little small for me and I have small hands. I eventually traded here on the forums.

Wharncliffes are one of my favorite blade shapes. I find the straight cutting edge of a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot to be a most effective cutter.

plus I found the stag and the engraved bolsters aesthetically appealing.

Thank you both for the information....

I was concerned about the quality and also the engraving. It's OK if it's in the size range of a 4" stockman or trapper , but I don't want a tiny knife either.

Well maybe I'll get myself a Christmas present...

That's a very interesting looking knife. I'm a bit of a stag junkie, and a big fan of a wharnie blade. I'd be interested to hear what you think of the knife if you decide to get one.

I'll post a review if I get one... I like stag as well, I found it by searching a vendor's site using the word "stag".
