Hello everyone, This was a knife that I had made a little while ago. It is the first big bowie i've been able to make in my typical style for quite sometime now. Making some big recurves with an elegant sweeping S guard will always be my favorite style.

This piece is currently available

let me know what you guys think. All comments/critiques are welcome

Blade is 13" long
overall length about 19"
blade is a mosaic damascus.
guard and fittings are hot blued damascus.
those spacers/fittings are textured 24k gold
handle is african blackwood with pearl and jade inlaid carvings

For this piece I decided to carve a little scene of a cherry blossom falling into a stagnant pond causing some rippling in the calm water. A curious set of eyes then emerges to explore and check out this subtle disturbance in his home.

Outstanding work, Paul. Don't forget to also drop it into the Bowies, Choppers, Camp Knives, Fighters and other Large Fixed Blades! thread at the top of the page.
