Thanks for the info on the ruana knife, I'm sending it to the shop. If I may, one more question please.
About 15 years ago my wife gave me a knife for my birthday. It has the name "fox" in fancy script on the "flip lever" on one side (actually I believe it's part of the blade) and the number "81" on the other side. It's about 8 1/4" long and the blade is about 3 1/2" long. It's all steel, and the sides (held on with two allen head type screws) are brushed steel. It appears to be a "fighter" type of knife. There is a "cam" type of release you pull away from the body to release the blade and fold it.
Has anyone heard or seen a knife like this? I tried google, but I didn't find a knife company listed with that name.
It appears to be very well made, and I've never carried or used it. It's in the same condition as I got it on my birthday. It would be nice to carry my pocket, but it's just too heavy.
Once again, thanks. thom
