The legendary Paul Hilborn strikes again. Paul pm'd me and asked for my address saying he had two Schrade Birdseye stockman and wanted to send me one. He just wanted to send me an old knife between friends. I told him my cup runneth over already from all the generosity on the porch, and I must decline his gracious offer.

He told me he understood and went on as masterfully as a neural linguistic pickup artist in a flow state, and convinced me otherwise.

Would you just look at the " old knife " :eek::eek::eek:

I'm still in shock Paul !! My heart is in my throat...

That Birdseye schrade is gorgeous I would love to find one like that. It's one of the most attractive knives ever made in my opinion! You're a very fortunate man Gevonovich!
 
Thanks all, and I hear you Dave;):D Gev the Birdseye Schrade has a trucking company advertisement and I found them to still be in business with my googlefu, I think that's pretty cool:)

I had intended to put an edge on that ebony Cornwell and forgot once I realized that I had taped the box:oops: I did get to both Schrade Waldens so they are ready to carry:thumbsup: Gev, your a great fixture here on the porch my friend and we all benefit from your presence:)

I have always wanted a Birdseye and this specimen is in the stratosphere ! It's so gorgeous in real life and with the original box, it is sweet perfection ! Can't wait to take its photograph ! The advert is waaay cool indeed !! More story and you know me.

I absolutely love the "Say it with Flowers" Schrade Cut Co. Man o man...what a specimen :eek: I feel like Waynorth ;) Been on the prowl for years !

The Cornwall is a classy ebony beauty, just oozes character !

The pure copper coin is so wondrous..it was staring at me when I opened the box ( it had escaped its plastic :eek:) ..I sat and took in its beauty for a few minutes before proceeding
( so special...wow...what a touch ) ;):)

Your collecting eye and taste is only exceeded by your generosity, thoughtfulness, and heart :)

you two are certainly cut from the same bolt of cloth, my friend ;):):thumbsup::thumbsup: The Cornwall has pushed the Klaas to the left pocket ..just now :eek:
