Got a line on Mr. LeBatard from our Matt Lamey. Matt has one of his folders and convinced me that this fellow makes a very nice small folder. And I couldn't agree more. Just received this folder today, sheep horn scales, stainless liners and D2 Blade, wharncliffish style blade and it came razor sharp, one of the sharpest arrival knives I've gotten. The Sheep horn is beautiful, nice character and colour. But I would hazard to say he probably won't do another one, as the Horn proved nasty to work with, but it arrived in great shape. Works well and very comfortable knife, blade is 3" long.

He makes a lot with all different types of woods, give him a call, he doesn't have an email at this time, and he works days so just leave a message.

Matt is more then correct in his opinions of Paul's work! For someone who had a dickens of a time working with the horn, he sure made it look nice. Very non-threatening looking, as well as looking very "organic". It's sweet!...or a I meant to say, it's a dog...you should send it to me, to save your collection some embarassment. Come on, mail it to me tomorrow. Your knife collection will thank you!

Well, thanks guys, except for J2, and John, I'll not be sending this one out....just yet!

The sheep horn is like 3D Damascus, very very cool and deep looking, really love it. Always wanted a sheep horn handled knife.
