Paul sent me the photos of this Ostrich leg inlaid sheath, I think it's a beauty and thought you guys may also enjoy seeing it. I have more photos of Paul's work if anyone would like to see them.

Thanks,
Dave

Paul's work is exemplary........so is yours, my friend.

Hey Dave! Long time no see. Let's see the knife inside that beautiful sheath.

Paul is an artist and a very fine gentleman. He made a sheath for me about a month ago that is just superb - finest leatherwork I have ever seen. Just haven't had time to post the photos. Soon.

Thanks Dudley

Hey Mongo, good to see you

I agree Keith

Like to see that sheath Holger

Here you go Mongo, I tried to enlarge the photo Paul sent me but didn't do a very good job with it!

The reason I sent the photos if you can call them photos is that I wanted him to see HIS knife in my sheath. I do own the knife (very produly) but it was made by non other than Dave Kelly and it is absolutley flawless. I could not be more proud of any knife in my collection. That's my story and I'm stick'n to it.

Paul makes spectacular sheaths anywhere from his plainer models to the most embellished. All very stylish and well made.

I LOVE that knife!! I am not so crazy about the sheath though.
Thanks, here's a closer view of the knife. Take a look at the other photos of Paul's great work!

Outstanding sheaths.
Especially the above with the cartridge loops. Very original.

Dave, love the knife and wood handle. Is it Olive wood? Kinda looks like Ironwood but leans more toward Olive wood grain pattern.

Big THANKS for posting the pics of Paul's work.
They all look outstanding but the inlays really do it for me.

Great work,Paul!

Doug :)

I love the middle knife and sheath....they're mine!! Here's some more pics I took of it last week at Marks house. And I might be wrong but that ironwood handled Mark Terrell 3 Finger Cleaver looks familiar too ;)

Fantastic work from both of you guys. Now all we need is a way to get hold of you for sheath work:D

So the other day I ran into this one legged Ostrich and he said, Hey look at this sheath, It's almost like it's a part of me. :-)

Seriously beautiful work....
