Here are two pancake crossdraw sheaths that Paul just finished up. One is a J.P. Moss gentleman's bowie that is very old and the other I am sure a l ot of you won't like a Merc Worx Vorax. Paul used my cape buffalo skin as inlay's and as usual his work is superb. I am waiting for a knife in the mail today and then i will send it along with two others to Paul for some more love. thanks for looking.

Cool that you're using your Cape Buffalo hide for the sheaths. I especially like the one for the Moss, I'm partial to the rich, brown colors.

Really nice sheathes. I've got a few favorites I'd like to treat like that. Mr. Long's work is superb.

Paul's superb craftmanship is easily spotted but the best part of Mr. Long is that he listens to what you want. He describeded these as looking like a club foot but he knows my prefered carry is a large fixed blade worn sash style sheath behind my left hip either thru the belt or in the seam of my pants. Even though I am right handed I draw with my left hand ice pick grip cutting edge out. This is second nature to me as is drawing a gun with my right. I am simple so I have to keep everything in the same place every time. Big knives carry good sash style but smaller fixed blades are a bit top heavy and lend themselves for me better in a belt sheath. Paul replocated my sash carry with these sheath's. So everything is the same for this simple boy. I have carried the larger of the two for a day now and all I can say he did a perfect job and even though they are not broken in yet they carry like a dream and I can tell he put time into the angle and some real thought into what I wanted. All I can say is ya all better get your stuff on out to him quick before he gets to busy to get it all done. Paul you are the man. thanks

Paul Long is a true craftsman. His leatherwork is fantastic. His primary goal is customer satisfaction. I do think, however, that having to wait nearly a week to get a sheath back (or three, in my case) is excessive. He really needs to do something about that wait time.

In case you missed it, the part about the wait time is a joke. And Paul knows it.

Thanks for the kudos, guys. Chris, I'm really trying to improve my turn around time, but it seems to be sliding the other way. If the load of incoming orders continues at the rate it is now I may have to extend my turn around from 48 hours to.....gasp!, a whole week.

On the serious side, I really thank everyone for understanding that it is getting busier and being patient with me....and last but surely not least thanks for the constant flow of orders.

paul....with makers order times going into decades what's another week!.....great looking sheaths for sure....ryan

Very cool! That cape buffalo skin makes great inlay material. I am a fan of the rich, brown colors, also. No surprise Paul made them to your specs. He is super talented at his craft.

Paul, have you considered a second shift?? :D

Very nice work!!! I especially like the Moss bowie sheath (I have 7 Moss knives and that appears to be be a shortened "Brazos Bowie"..I've never seen one like it).

Bro, I know it would be a pain, but if you ever got a chance to shoot a quick pic of one of those on the belt, I'd be VERY grateful. :)

NICE SHEATHS

Hey Paul! Looking Good! I think I would like one like the first one,but a little more hi- rideing for a Mini Wilderness. Should go with well with the concealed carry piece!
