Missouri Walnut, bronze & W2.

Been a while since I've needed a sheath for it and Paul was nice enough to do it.
Fully lined Cape Buffalo pouch style sheath with Loveless lip.
Getting mailed out to me tomorrow.

Very nice package!

Just finished reviewing my copy of Mr. Long's Video "Advanced Blade Sheaths" time to get busy!

Out of the park, Doug! Paul has paired that sheath up to make an outstanding package. Great move on your part.

Joe,

The best move on my part was listening to Paul. :)

I sometimes wonder what Paul thinks when I call…it's that Doug Castor again and the second time he's called this week. :D

Seriously, I was thinking of using other leather and Paul took the time to explain in a logical and rational manner why Cape Buffalo would be a better choice.

Thanks everyone for the good words !

What a night ! Talked to Jason, who Paul has also agreed to make a sheath for a Fighter he's building for me and we picked a handle wood tonight.

I think Paul's sheath for Don's Hunter is fantastic. :)

Terrific combo. Listening to Paul is always a good idea. Far more often than not, I just ask him to build the sheath that he thinks best suits the knife.

I take notes. :D

I try to do that too, Roger, and Paul always let's me know what would work and look better.

Same goes for knifemakers, not afraid to ask them to build something out of their box.
But, don't consider myself a knife designer by any stretch and let the makers do what they do best.
