Paul's Hatchet Question

Does anyone know the difference in dimensions between Paul's Hatchet and the Ratchet A2T from Swamp Rat. They could be completely different, showing my complete ignorance. Just curious.

Not sure of actual dimensional differences, but they are different.

Paul's was INFI, and the Ratchet/A2T is SR101.

The A2T is a version of the standard Rat Ratchet. A2T has the Resiprene handle, where the Paul's had the original "Satin Jack/Badger III/Public Defender" style micarta handle. There were some cord-wrapped Paul's offered at Blade a couple years ago, I think they were like $100 at the time.

Thanks for the picture. Are the two Resiprene ones Ratchets? The blade profile looks about the same, is there a difference in thickness?

It is the overall length that is a bit different, but not by a lot.

There are some minor grind variations.

Get either. They'll both serve you well...
