I have completed a deal securing the green linen micarta one I pictured above. It ships tomorrow and I hope to see it by the end of the week!!

Oge14, to what "chop and whack thing" are you referring?
 
It COULD be black canvas but I'm pretty sure it's green linen.
Maybe jimmyjones could chime in as I believe he was the previous owner.
 
the jack and paul's igel has up is the 'chop and whack' combo. now that i really look at them those linen scale's have some mile's on them. very nice score you have there, post some pic's when you get it please.
