Pawn shop and a Buck 706

I discovered this knife at a Pawn shop. 12 $. A cherry BUCK 703 made in USA . I cant help but feel somethings amiss. I have never found a good buy at this Pawn Shop before. The Emblem must be upside down or something. I have noticed a difference in the contrast of the scales.One side is darker. What do you guys think?

Looks good to me. I used to have one of those, great little knife, sharped up real well. I passed it on to a good friend, and I kinda miss it. Bought it about 15 rears ago, and I know I paid more than 12 dollars for it.
