Every once in a while I like to look around at the local pawn shops. Sometimes you can find some good stuff. In years past, you could find some really good deals.. Then I guess they found the internet and figured out some of this stuff was worth money..
I was in a local shop yesterday and looking in the knife case, there was a UH sheath knife. I wasn't even going to look at it because I figured it was a current production. Curiosity got the best of me so I looked. I was surprised when I pulled it out of the sheath and it was a U.S version
So here I had a Schrade UH 152 (Wolverine I think). Doesn't look like its ever been used. After some wheeling and dealing I became the proud new owner for the grand total of $15.00 After getting home I looked up the current Taylor Schrade listings, and as near as I can tell, they don't offer this model anymore.. That made me feel even better..
