I was the lucky recipient of a giveaway recently sponsored by link2derek link2derek and wanted to share the love and pay the generosity forward.

I am offering up 4 nice blades, all differing in style, to one lucky member.

1st: KABAR BK-18 and sheath - never used or carried - no box
2nd: TWO SUN TS-324 flipper - NIB
3rd: NAHC (North American Hunting Club) folder - 4" blade - NIB
4th: Damascus 3 3/4" dagger and leather sheath (no stamp) - never used or carried - no box

RULES:
~Lower 48 only, please.
~Must be at least 18 years old.
~Must have 200 or more posted Messages.
~Must NOT have won a GAW in the past 2 years.
~By entering you are confirming that the offered knives are legal for you to own in your state.
~Please don't enter for resale purposes or if you could easily afford to go buy several. I'd prefer the winner to be someone that these knives will make good additions to their collections. Thanks for understanding.

HOW TO ENTER:
~First, READ and follow the RULES above. And please follow the Honor System. After all, our word is all we have.
~Simply drop an "I'm in", give me a "Like" and leave a reason why you'd like to have the knives.
~Only one entry per person, please. Let's keep it fair for everyone.

THE CONTEST:
~I will compile all entries Sunday July 28, 2024 and a winner will be selected.
~The wife and I will select our 5 favorite reasons; randomly assign each either a 10, Jack, Queen, King or Joker; shuffle the deck a few times and start flipping. Whose ever assigned card turns over first gets the knives.

HOW TO CLAIM:
~Once a winner is picked, I will post the name here in this thread.
~Winner will have 48 hours to contact me via PM through the forum.
~If there is no response within 48 hours, a second winner will be selected.

Awesome, brother! That's very generous of you. I see you're still trying to get those pics up. I had a bit of trouble too when I posted my GAW. I had to re-up my Photobucket account and link to them from there. Couldn't just Drop or Drag an image from My Pictures on my laptop like I normally do in other threads. Don't know why that is. Maybe someone can jump in and explain. DocJekl DocJekl seems to know all about that sorta thing -- he's a real pro. There's also a Tech Support sub-forum with info on how to do all that.

In any case, have fun with your GAW. Oh, and I'm not in...it would look weird if I was to win. LOL. But God Luck to all who enter!

I’m all in on this one too!! Really interested in testing out that awesome k-bar. I’m not usually a fix blade fan and honestly haven’t ever tested one so 🤞🏼🤞🏼. Thanks DennisM DennisM !

And it’s a pretty diverse collection. I’m at the age where most people I know are starting to get family heirlooms and sort passed down. My family has always been sort of distant. The key figures had all passed by the time I came around. And extended family swooped in like vultures as my dad says. Taking anything of any value. But I’m not super worried about myself.

But with my first child on the way (a boy) I’ve thought about what has brought me joy. Being in Cub and Boy Scouts as a young boy, to the military. I’ve always respected and appreciated knives. So I’ve slowly started collecting when I can. In hopes to one day share the love with my son, as well as be the start of something worth passing down one day. Be it monetary or even more so sentimental value.

So this is super cool, and like I said. A nice diverse boost for said collection

Paid memberships are great and I highly encourage getting one, although some may not be in a position to get one. A paid membership is not a prerequisite for this GAW - my prerogative.

The # of post requirement is to prevent people from signing up to BF only to get freebies. I see that you've been a member longer than me.

That said - You're in 👍🏼

Yea, I keep meaning to get it. And I should/will soon. Life just happens. I try to contribute real and meaningful posts. Haha. Too many forums have too much random radio chatter flooding the forum.

And I do appreciate sir! I love the trend you have here with keeping the momentum of generosity going. I have an idea of something I’ll be shooting up soon! To keep it going as well. (Win or loose this one) it’s nice to see positive in people. Especially online.
 
I just saw this GAW and this should actually be my 200th post on BF! So, I'm in!

Honestly, I would love to win something for once! I am on a tight budget and I constantly have to search for discounts and save for months to buy a new knife...I end up missing a lot of deals because of this! So yeah, I would be extremely happy and honored to win! I especially have my eye on the BK18 as something I have been trying to purchase lately! I love the harpoon style blade! I also have a new fondness for traditionals! As a matter of fact...I love pretty much all types of knives! I really enjoy taking quality photos and sharing them for everyone to enjoy!
