Ok...I don't know how well this will fly on here, but I thought I would give it a shot after stealing the concept from another forum. Here's the deal: we all have some piece of gear that we don't use or have duplicates of or something that someone else could put to much greater use than our closets, drawers, etc are doing. What you do is post something you have and don't want and give someone else the opportunity to take it off your hands. now...since you will be paying the shipping for your item, the recipient is required to post something they are willing to lose as well so that, in the end, we all have received something, if desired, for our item. It is not a thread to barter or trade or sell in.

I am putting up one of my Tramontina 24" machetes. It is has been used hard and could use a good sharpening, but it works and I don't need two of them.
 
I like this idea dougo! Sounds like a winner to me. I probably can scrape up some stuff as well.
 
Nice, Doug -- I like it. It's in the spirit of the people of our forum to do this kind of thing. I'll think on what I can part with as well. :thumbup:
 
i have a large okapi folding knife that was gifted to me, but i don't use it, so i will offer it up. note that i thinned out the edge and ground some off of the back to bring the edge closer to center (it was chisel ground with a bevel on the back)

its a pretty large knife, 4"-ish blade, so keep that in mind if you intend to carry it.
 
I have a woodland camo wet weather coat, Army issue. Looks identical to the gortex, just not a gortex. size is xl......

I also have a pair of od 5.11 pants in 38x32, I lost alot of weight and theyre too big. Great condition, no holes....

To all...I thought this would fit perfectly in the spirit of what all the WS&S guys are about. Thanks for the support on it and all.

Sig...you can go ahead and send that Okapi this way...I always thought those were some pretty cool knives. I guess hold it until my blades reach ya and throw it in the return when you're done.

And my machete is still up. It is being joined by an SAK Camper and a pair of Bushnell 10x25 Camo Binos.

I've got a Large Camo Fanny pack (mossy oak I think ) That I never pack That I'de be willing to part with :D

coaldigger, how big is big? approx cubic inches or just measurements?

doug, i am putting a sticky note on it now so i don't forget.

i'm going to go see if i can find anything else that i don't need...

EDIT to add, doug, just wrap it up good in one of those cardboard tubes and noone will know...
or i think UPS does all kinds of things.
