I'm sitting pretty at just over 1000 posts which makes this as good a time as any to contribute to the considerable karmic circle of this forum (yes, it's a giveaway thread.)

First to thank those who have been generous in the past: I've been so extraordinarily fortunate to win FIVE amazing giveaways in my time here, from pertinux, Vanguard, Doug Add, Fausto/quattromori, and Lars/Art Vandeley. Here is a group shot of the aforementioned treasures. I carry and admire them all for their beauty and functionality, but also for the beauty of the gestures which led to my obtaining them.

For this thread, the first of several giveaways, I have up for grabs a 'regional' classic that I hope is as representative of American cutlery as possible, namely a Case 6347HP stockman from 1977.

It is a hefty customer at 3 7/8" closed (but the main blade is under 3", for you UK types.) My favorite type of stockman, it has a serpentine frame and rounded bolsters (cam tangs come with the territory!) It has pocket-worn bone handles, CV/carbon blades, NS liners and bolsters, and superb construction. I was Seriously Impressed when I found this and realized that there was no loss of walk and talk in any of the blades! It has been gently used but well maintained, which is the other great aspect of this one--I hope whoever snags it will put it into their rotation and appreciate it for the fine and simple piece that it is.

'Rules'
1. If you consider yourself a regular in Traditionals please enter, especially if you have ever given a knife away here or won one here.
2. If you post in this thread it counts as an entry, I won't take no for an answer
3. If you are outside of the US, please enter. If I can win giveaways from Norway and Sardinia, then one of you can certainly win one from here.
4. The winner will be selected via random drawing in a week from today, 19 July.

"I'm in" does the trick, but feel free to post a picture of something Traditional-y if you are so inclined, as I suspect most of you are.

That's a very generous giveaway! Please count me in.

Here's a pic of a mod I just finished for my son, who is turning 18 on Sunday.

Thanks, Glenn.

Wow, I don't think I have ever seen so much goodwill on a forum as this one. That is a very generous deed, indeed!

Steve, congratulations on your 1000+ posts and thanks for this generous giveaway. Five wins is pretty good, and those are five lovely knives, it's really nice to see them pictured together as it's almost immediately apparent who they came from! :)

Your new knife is looking great Meako, love that sheath

Hope your son has a very happy 18th birthday Glennbad, lovely work on that one as always :)

Here's a pic of my Boker Tree Brand Stockman out on the Yorkshire Range last weekend.

That was really nice written from you, I consider myself a regular, and thus am in. :D But yeah winning 5 giveaways makes you damn lucky, maybe you should play the lottery and see if you win.

This is my favorite picture of my Peanut. Goodluck y`all, and thanks for the oppurtunity.

Well, I'm new here, not enough time to win anything yet, nor enough knives to give any away to members here. I have given knives to both my brother in law and father in law.
Thanks for the chance!
