Well I recently won a flash giveaway, and received a generous prize of 2 Buck knives. Thanks CHNeal! The rules were that I keep one and give one away, which is great because I was planning to do a GAW anyway. I have seen and received so much goodwill and generosity here on the Porch. I have my Gold membership here because of a giveaway and I got to give a boy scout knife to my nephew (even though I lost that giveaway!). This is an awesome place, with awesome members.
I will be giving away a very nice 1986 vintage Buck 303 Stockman (you can thank CHNeal). I will also be giving away an Opinel number 8 that I have customized a bit. I file worked the spine a little and stained, burned, sanded etc. the handle. It also has a leather slip, and lanyard in the lanyard hole I made to help it out of the slip. I will probably add some other goodies to the pot too.
So the rules are simple, just post an "I'm in" and say what knife you're carrying right then. I wont require pictures, because I wasn't always a Gold member and I know what a pain it is to post pics as a new forum member. If you want to post a picture, I would enjoy it though!
Also I would ask that you be a regular forum member, not someone trying to get a free knife to sell or whatever. Nobody likes a flipper.
New people can enter, you don't need a certain number of posts. By the way, I can't do international shipping (I am in the US). I will draw the winner from a hat on Thursday so I can send the prizes off on Friday.
