PayPal & Balis

What's the deal with PayPal and Bali/Butterfly knives? I ordered a Spyderfly from Knifeworks, and I waited about a week until I called them to find out why it wasn't being shipped. Was told I didn't pay for it - that's all. So I gave them a credit card number and got it.

Then I saw on 888knivesrus that all Balis are prohibited by Paypal. I emailed Knifeworks about this and they said they never heard of it.

Paypal is owned by ebay, and ebay is a California based company. CA has very strict laws regarding sales/transfers of "switchblades", which includes balisongs by their definition. I'm guessing here, but I suspect that this is the reason. The same reason that all the balis and autos on ebay have the "under 2 inch" clause, even if it's not.

We were told by Pay Pal that we could not use them for the sell of Butterfly and Automatic knives. If we did we could not use them.
We do so many sells out of the United States to Verified buyers that it we like Pay Pal.
I guess we could change the specs on the blade sizes, like people on Ebay but that to me and DC would be lying!
