Okay, so a question.
I've had a paypal account for something like 9 years. For most of that time I've had it hooked into my checking account. Just recently somehow someone managed to bogusly use my paypal account to send themselves some money. Fortunately they were relatively small amounts that were in the paypal account. Paypal acted pretty quickly when I protested and I got the money back.
However, the thought occurred to me that if things hadn't gone that way and they had sent themselves large amounts of money that it would have come out of my checking account which could have gotten ugly. So, I disconnected my checking account from paypal.
The Problem: Now I can't send money via paypal anymore as I've already maxed their limit. The only way for them to lift the limit is to connect a bank account or get one of their credit cards. Having a separate paypal bank account seems like a hassle so I was wondering about their cards. Anyone got one? Is there some "gotcha" there that I should know about? They claim that there is no annual fee. Their interest rates are ridiculous (like 20%) but I don't carry balances anyway so I don't care about that.
