just got a notice my paypal has been "limited". I only put this here because 99% of my paypal transactions are on the Busse/Kin exchange.

I have a transaction marked "! payment review "

What do you guys think about this?

hi there

i have had that too in the past. i called customer service and they told me that happens ever xx ammount in y time. or something. i had to re-verify the account with them and everything was back to normal. i wouldnt worry too much at this stage. give them a call and see whats up.

Have you noticed any PPBO lurking around your home or work place? :(

PayPal Black Ops.

:p

Personally I wouldn't sweat it. I sold an AK-47 once and they did the same thing to me. Held up the transaction until they could determine/verify that I wasn't selling a gun/rifle. Paypal is and always will be a love/hate relationship with most folks.

Hope it all works out.

I have had this happen to me while paying for a blade or sheaths last year. Just a bit of inconvenience, everything was fine once I called them for the verification.

Same here. But....my most recent payment i was forced to use an "echeck" rarher than instant transfer. I think they pull their little tricks to steer paypal users to their credit line.

I called them and they said my account was fine, scam email, and I forwarded it to their security department.

It wasn't even locked for verification. I do feel a little better but I do get less and less comfortable with it all the time.

When you get an email like that NEVER click any links in it. Type paypal.com into your browser and log in to your account to check it out. If your account actually is limited (yes this happens) then just call up customer service and give them whatever info they want.

Seems it is a scam.I just got the same email.I deleted it and log into pay pal and my account was normal.

Hey, darkeather, if you DID click the link in the email and logged in through that link you need to go on paypal NOW and change the password.

for the unconfortable feeling reagarding to paypal

you can buy a paypal security key. costs you 20usd or something and works for like 3 years. its 6 digit pin generator that you use in addition to your password. i feel better and would say money well spend. just means you can ussually only access your PP from home (or wherever you store the digital key generator)

I wouldn't worry about buying, its just infuriating to me that they can freeze your funds any time they want. I bet a lot of people don't sell unless they have bills to pay or projects to fund. Either way, "liquidating" and having them freeze your account is BS and I don't see how it is legal without a court order or something
