I was just wondering. What is it...

It's a form of payment via the internet. You set up an account with them and it deducts directly from your bank account. Same thing as using your credit card or debit card and doesn't make things much easier in that sense. If you have a credit or debit card, there isn't much need to set up an account with them in my opinion. I have one but don't really use it that much at all. I think maybe twice. If you have a business or something of that nature where you plan on doing a lot of sales, you might want to look into it. Someone else should have more info concerning that though.

When I asked for sites where I could order Balis without having to use a credit card, someone told me use Paypal. I thought it was a way like you could send cash to Paypal and they would give you like a temporary credit card number or something to use for an internet payment.

It would be slow, you would have to set up an account, and ask them to transfer the money from you bank to them, which could take up to 5 days or longer. Billpoint is even longer, I had a customer pay by check and it took 10 days for it to clear. JohnR7
