Do you take this for memberships? I don't really pay for anything online without paypal.

i used paypal for memberships so i would assume they do take it....and it was a very quick and easy process and i recommend the upgrad

Yeah I can understand that but still it is the benchmark for transferring funds online. I personally wont use my Credit card because of past events and I won't make an account with another program that isnt the benchmark just for one site. Seeing as I'm in Canada CC's wont work in the for the states. You'd have to take American Drafts as my bank calls them and really when there is a great service online that is both safe and secure, why go another way? Okay they're anti gun but so are many people and this is a knife forum not gun forum. The idea of not taking paypal for a knife forum based on guns is kinda nuts....but I will continue to enjoy these forums as they seem to be the best. If I can think of a way to get a membership I will but I won't make another account to accommodate anyone else.....Kickass forum though.

I agree to his right to an opinion. I just have to contact him and see if an American Draft is acceptable, As I said I'm in Canada and I need to transfer the funds into US, I'm pretty sure snail mail would work. This forum is a good resource or people like myself an aspiring collector so I value it greatly and I want to do the member thing to get the most out of it.
While I don't like his dealings there is no online rule saying paypal must be accepted. It's just a major way of doing business online. I'll find out how to email him and find out the address to send the AD if he will accept it. But I do think ADs are certified the difference is they convert the Canadian Funds to American Funds.

I just want to search, get the latest posts (getnew/ getdaily) and maybe use PMs. There is just too much material to wade through without searching.

I tried several times with my non-US VISA card and of course Authorize.net failed to complete. 1sks.com does not offer Basic Membership and for my low posting volume, it's not really justified to spend $30 just to search BF.

Is there really no way I can subscribe? If one of the Admins can sort it out with PP, please email me at my registered email address. Heck, I'm willing to pay a $5 premium/ fee, if that's what it takes.

It is the only thing stopping me from going Gold, I do not use CCs and would have to use my "Visa" Debit card. I am wary of using my Debit as there is no protection like a CC.

I too would not mind paying a reasonable fee on top of the membership price to someone via paypal if they could then pay for my membership via Authorizedotnet...

Visa guarantees exactly the same protection for debit cards as for credit cards. Go to your bank's website or to Visa's and see for yourself.

Can I post cash to Spark?
I really DON'T like using international credit cards outside a Euro currency area, and since Paypal is condemned for being anti gun (I think it's anti knife too but it doesn't stop a whole load of buying of knives esp through e-bay&many other vendors...) Should be a discount for cash too......

I used to do that a lot with small amounts of money -- figuring if a $10 payment gets stolen one time out of ten, well, that's no worse than paying $1 each for ten money orders. As it turned out I never did have a payment stolen, but your mileage may vary....
