PB Washers for One Ton?

I'd post this in a Kershaw brand forum but we don't have one anymore so here it is...

I bought a One Ton at a chain sporting goods store recently on an impulse, great value at $19.99 and a blade shape I didn't have another knife similar to (after all is there ever a reason not to buy a new knife? HAH!). For those who don't know, it's a manual opening framelock with plastic washers inside it. I took it all apart and cleaned out all the dirt and manufacturing grit inside and put some CLP (a gun lube/protectant) on the metal parts that move, this smoothed it out but not quite to the level of say a Tenacious. I certainly understand that at this price I need to have reasonable wants, and I do, but is it possible to acquire Phosphor Bronze bushings that will fit? I did some basic searching but didn't come up with much.

Of course you can buy pb washers for it. You need to know what size over all, diameter of the entire washer and the inside circle and the correct thickness. Take what you have to a hardware store.

I went by Lowe's today and looked, nothing even close, had a hard time getting across to them what I wanted (I felt like I was habloing espanol)...is online a better source? Does anyone know if Kershaw uses the same size washers on all their budget line knives? I'm not totally against cannibalizing.

What are the dimensions of the washers? I made some washers out of delrin (plastic, tougher than Teflon but not quite as slick) that I use for my kershaw Chill. They work quite well for me. If they are the right size, I can send you some.

I have a Half Ton that makes it into my EDC rotation.

Call Kershaw on Monday and ask them nicely to send you washers for your knife. I don't consider Lowe's a hardware store, it's more of a Wal-Mart with tools. I was thinking more along the lines of True value or Ace, they have those washers in the plumbing section.
