So are there any fellas out there who already own PBF's with good sheaths for them... I would love to see what has already been made. I am probably going to get both leather and kydex.... once I figure out what to do with the handles... which will more than likely end up being micarta of some kind.

cheers

I'd be interested in the OAL of the 6" and 8" PBFs???

Chiseen, do you mind doing a measurement for us??

now that I think of it I'd be curious as to the weight to! :) :)

I love my David Brown KB sheath! It's a friction-fit kydex rig with mini Tek-lok. David cuts his sheaths low so that the entire handle is exposed for a more secure grasp. I think a high-riding kydex rig is perfect for the Killer B, which I carry as a backup. The handle doesn't poke you in the ribs like larger knives carried this way. I only wish that the mini Tek-lok fit my rigger's belt; I need to get a full-sized one. It does clip well to wide belt loops, though :) . IWB is another natural choice, but I'm not too fond of it.

Don't have a scale but here are the lengths from tipp to the end of the skull crusher:

KB: 8.5 exactly
6": just shy of 11.5
8": 12 3/4

They all have 1/4" spines.

All have exactly 7 knots? of wrap on thr left side, 6 on the right.

They feel pretty hefty in the hand. Probably because the tang is not as thin as usual. The balance is slightly forward.

Edited to add:
They are all v ground.

Hi Chissen,
Thanks for the specs.I'll probably get Kydex for these, maybe try something different.Get David's and Okuden's.Handles I'm going to think on for awhile.

I've always wanted to get some kind of wood sheath, kinda like the ones for a sword only smaller. Black laquered would be nice.

Maybe balck leather? I think brown leather would not make a good match.

I double checked my KB (not one from the PBF series) and it is definitely 9"OAL  no big deal, just interesting. I bet the 4" KB we get this week are 8.5" like yours Chiseen
