I just felt like showing off the newest items to my collection. I feel rather lucky to have scored these PC 69's. They are both NIB as far as I can tell. One squeaks when it is opened, and no I did not manipulate it, only opened it very carefully. The other is a little loose and I suspect that it has been manipulated a little, but if it was is shows no real signs of it.
BTW, I got these by following up on a cancelled Ebay auction.
The BM 42A was received a couple of weeks ago and I felt like having it in the scan.
I guess I should learn how to manipulate these things, huh?

DAMN! Thos are nice. So you bid on it on Ebay, and then Ebay found out and cancelled the auction? How much where they?

Philip, you could at least try to learn how to manipulate a bali using a cheapie at first. Manipulating is more than half the fun of owning balisongs.

Congrats on your great score. Very nice tantos.

Chaozu, I didn't even get to bid on them. They had been closed by Ebay before I got a chance. I was able to email the seller and after about a month of emailing and getting the deal worked out, I received the package a couple of days ago. They actually had a Custom Bowie that I really wanted and a PC 68 that I was going to buy. But in the course of the emails, I found out that they had 3 PC 69's. When I found that out, I jumped on the deal. I may wind up selling one of the 69's, so I don't want to say what I paid for it. I will say that I got a REALLY good deal on them

The BM42A I picked up here on the forums for $103.
An interesting thing on the PC boxes is that one is marked 69 XXX, which I have seen others similarly marked, and the other is marked Pin Punched ok 69. The pin on that 69 is somewhat flattened.

Hey Phillip, PC 69 is on my hit list! Please email me when the time is right!

Best regards,

Hey do you know if the guy still has the custom bowie?

Thanks to all for the responses

JP, no unfortunately they had sold the custom bowie, and they are down to 1 PC 68, no box but with sheath. I am trying to work out a deal for that one but I have a feeling that it has been sold.
As far as the 69 goes, I think I am going to hold onto it for a little while, and maybe use it for a trade on a Custom Wee Hawk Tanto or Custom Bowie. Time will tell.

Thanks for the respnse Phillip. Please do keep that in mind!

Bakedpotato, eBay prohibits the auctioning of balisongs with blade lengths over 2 inches. Yeah, stupid rule.

ebay prohibits that? i have seen some BM 42s on there once or twice.

Also, philip, where did u get the 42a for 109, i guess it was an auction because i cant find any vendor that will go that low, let alone have any in stock

wakt

Wakt, I got the 42A here on the for sale forums from a fellow forumite for $103. I had to be pretty quick, and I was the first who responded to the post. There were several others in line behind me if I did not want it or if the deal fell through.
Keep your eyes on the for sale area, you will eventually score a good deal.
As others have stated, sometimes Ebay lets one slip by, but only rarely. I was lucky enough that when I saw the auction for the PC 69's, I was able to send off an email to the seller. The auction had already been closed but the links for email were still active. Truthfully, I was very surprised that no one else had beaten me to them. Just my lucky day I guess.
