Dang it...............PC crashed.

Working with new PC and tablet.
Frustrating is a understatement.

If you need something please re-e-mail.

I may have lost lots of pics and e-mails.

Depending on the severity of the crash, you may still be able to get data off of the drives. Tools like testdisk can really save your bacon. I have recovered many many gigabytes of data with this tool. Best of all, it's licensed under GPL and is free. Good luck with the recovery.

Get a Mac brother and never worry about it again. :) That's when I converted, after I lost everything on my P(o)C.

thank you for the well wishes

black screen of death so programs and whatnot may not help, I have recovered a hard drive by hard wiring with a laptop in between, wish me luck.

Heard the cloud is very unsecured.

wish i could afford a Mac :)

Macs are just apple PCs and built on the same hardware as any other PC, you just pay way more for hardware and software and still have to also buy/run windows to have full functionality. I much prefer windows to Apple, having used both extensively. Macs will have harddrive failures like any other computer, and they freeze up with that annoying beach ball.

That's a bummer man!!!!

Get yourself an external drive and back up regualrly. Also, speaking from experince here - NEVER keep your files on the same drive as windows. If windows dies you don't lose your files.

I have a 1T external but it would not load.
Complacency = headaches :(

Got e-mail back up :)
Now I just need to get my big monitor hooked back up (new PC has DVI, old PC was VGA and monitor is HDMI ) I know its a easy fix just do not have the parts and its a freakin winter wonderland up here :)

Thanks for all the support from the positive people ;)

Find a good computer tech. The guy I use is amazing. He can get information off of anything but a Mac. LOL

I second this advice, it has always served me well. Computers are like cars, it is never very convenient when they break down. I hope you get it all sorted out dude.

sorry to hear of the black screen of death, that is never a good feeling. :(

I'm glad to hear that you're getting things figured out, technology can be such a hassle when it doesn't want to work. Continued wishes of good luck for getting the rest of this unfortunate situation figured out.
