All things being equal -What is more valuable,a Benchmade or Pacific cutlery model. For example if you had a PC model 68 and the same model 68 Benchmade is one considered more mor collectable? As far as quality goes they appear identical to me.

The PC knife blades were hand ground and made for only a short period of time before they went out of business. The BM knife blades are ground on CNC machines and IMHO not as scarce or collectible as PC's production line.

The Pacific Cutlery models would be more expensive for sure, assuming they were in the same conditions. PC balis are older, and like Dawkind said, the blades are also hand ground, while the Benchmade blades are made from a machine first, then sharpened.
