PD variant?

I just received this Busse PD, would it be considered a variant because it has a satin finish on the spine all around, a satin finish on the hollow grind blade surface, a swedge (not the normal penetrator tip) on the top of the blade and a black paper micarta handle with silver hollow rivets? If so, we there many PD variants made? Thanks.

Congrats, nice looking blade. This is a variant and I currently know of 3 PD variants that have been made. There may be more but I know there are at least 3. I have one that is very similar to yours but has green micarta scales. Chuck (1WB's) has one that is quite different(I think you can see it in his last for sale thread) and then there is yours
