PE alum. Flash 2?

Am I just missing something? I want an aluminum handled Flash 2 with a straight edge blade and the revised lock lever. Doesn't seem to exist anywhere. Is there really no aluminum handled PE version? I already have a partially serrated zytel version, but want a plain edge now and would like to get an aluminum version since the one I handled seemed to have better blade action than the zytel.
 
They don't make this version. I swapped a blade on one for a fellow just because he wanted the PE blade in one.

He had a PE with zytel handle so I put it in the one he ordered.

Correct we do not currently offer a plain edge Flash II with aluminum handle. However you can just switch the blade from another knife if you really wanted.
 
Right I could, but I'd have to buy two knives then. One with a PE blade and one with an aluminum handle. Really not even slightly worth it. Oh well, I'll look for something else. Trying to find something a bit smaller and lighter than my Vulcan for a new edc. Maybe a Twitch or something.

1. Are the flash II's cryogenically treated?

2. Are all Flash II's undergoing the change to the newer release found on the Aluminum versions?
 
1 - Yes the Flash II knives are cryogenically treated.

2 - All I can say is keep a look out in the next couple months
 
Great, I'm gonna wind up breaking down and grab a Twitch XL just in time for some major revision to the Flash and I'll have to buy another one anyway lol.
So, this revision gonna include an aluminum handled PE? Yes? Yes? Yes?
