I picked up a PE Harpy with "G-2 Stainless" stamped on one side of the blade and "Seki-City Japan" on the other side. These are kind of a rare bird, right?

If I'm not mistaken the PE Harpy was offered on the Japanese market for quite a while and some members here ordered a few.
Again, I may be off base on this one.

I'm not sure. For some reason it has two pocket clips. It was very dirty when I got it, but it cleaned up nicely. I've been on the lookout for one for a while (honestly, because Hannibal Letter used one in the movie) and I picked it up last summer for $5. I'll post a picture when I get home.

I've owned one of the ATS-55 PE Harpy models and one of the VG-10 PE Harpy models. I've never owned one made with G-2. I find it strange in a way too because many of the other Hawkbill models were easy to find in PE except the Harpy. "Barman1" is right about the PE Harpy kind of being a Japanese offering. Because the old G-Sakai website used to have a lot of Japan made Spyderco models that were hard to find in American markets or dealers.
