Real pretty handles. Blades almost full. Too bad someone had to shine them.

I'm OK that it has been used. I'll get to carry it sometimes. I knew it was like it was when I got it, but the peachseed was a little better than I anticipated. I think it just had carbon staining from years of sitting sitting, not used so much. No blade play, good snap on all but the can opener. It is sharp, and it is a dandy punch with a cute choil. I was really pleased it had the cool shield. The bail is huge. I may give it some induced patina, not sure yet.

Hal, the bone on that SUV is really nice. Cutco made quite a number of variations over the years. Here are a couple more. The top one has a flat strap bail, which I have not seen before. I can't tell if it's bone or not. The bottom one is bone, but not as nice as the one Hal has shown. Still pretty. On a side note, to the best of my knowledge no iterations of Schrade made an official Boy Scout knife until 1985, when they made a copy of an old New York Knife Co scout knife for the 75th anniversary of American scouting. Actually another "modern" version as well.
