The peanut pattern gets a lot of play on this forum, so I took a picture of the eight I have. They are all Schrades and Ulsters.

Pretty much the same old pattern. Some of the Ulsters have a half stop. I like it when they put the cutout in the handle. Didn't especially like the sharpening job done on #7, but it is razor sharp.

I got #1 in the mail today. Sliced my finger within 3 minutes so it is field tested.

I'd like to see some of your peanut lineups.

Very nice! I love those swedges! Sadly I only own one peanut, I really like the pattern but I have xl hands add a bit of clumsiness and not the best pattern for me. But I still need to add a few to the collection.

I like the long nail pulls. I have pretty nimble fingers, but the tiny little nail nicks on most knives drive me crazy.

#2 has an awesome swedge. I don't use them much either for the same reason, but I seem to accumulate a few anyway.

The cracked ice celluloid brings back alot of memories! It seems like about every other two blade pocket knife in the 50's was a give away with some company name on it. Most of them I recall seeing were cracked ice celluloid.

Here's the only Peanut I own. It's a nice one though.

Peregrin -

That must be one of those honey-dipped varieties, cuz that's one sweet Peanut!

recently traded for a case blue bone peanut, planned to trade it off but when i got a good look at it the dang thing jumped in my pocket and won't leave. funny thing those peanuts.

A Bob Cargill original Peanut. Built in 1981, cost me 125 then. Found the original ad and notes from order. For another 25, I could have had file work, another 25 and gotten MOP. But I got the bare bones minimum. It is all I could afford at the time.

Great bunch of knives everyone!

Thawk, that one seventh from the end looks like she had an owner that really loved that knife. I like it.

James Todd, surely you have had that Cargill long enough and would like to trade me something for it, mmmmm?..:)

Eric, I love the match-striker pulls on the BullDogs!

Here is a shot of some of the ones I(my kids & me) own. All Case Peanuts. Ive got some Schrades and some others as well around here somewhere.. I'll see if I can locate them later after the sun comes up some.

PS, I think I will hang onto the Cargill, I think it looks good in the custom section of my collection.
