Hey all,
Hi, my name is Mongo and I am now addicted to peanuts. In my previous research, I ran across a rare pic or two of a peanut with a main clip blade and a small pair of scissors similar to the little SAK version. Who makes this particular peanut version? Looks like an awesome little EDC.
 
Case has something like that in amber bone. It looks like a peanut with a scissors and a shackle or bail of some kind. I wouldn't mind having one either.

This is a Camillus Slim Senator that was owned by one of my Grandfathers. Camillus is of course no longer around. I've never seen another like it myself. I would think there would be some to be found. I inquired in the Collecting forum and someone told me they had a picture of it in a 1943 catalog. I found a reference in a 1973 catalog. So it's a pretty old pattern.

Not really classified a PEANUT but Schrade made a small knife based of the stockman frame Model# 106OT 2 3/4" frame clip main,small pen and, Scissors a very useful pattern:thumbup:. I hade been looking for one as a watch pocket EDC and picked one up on that auction site, main blade broke @1/4" reprofiled to a short wharncliff myself and love this thing, and bought cheap $6.49 shipped:eek::D. My advice look there find one inexpensive give it a try and see how you like it.

Case calls that pattern the Pen IIRC
I've been meaning to get one for a while now, I was going to put a lobster clasp on the bail on one and clip to my dog tags or a nice chain for a functional pendant...

Camo scales, pocket clip, glass breaker, black tanto main blade with shroud cutter, secondary blade with opening hole and "wave" feature, all on the Case peanut frame. ;) ;)

That's absurd! Maybe with the rediculous black blade it might be kind of interesting, but that blade does not fit at all. I do like the pocket clip and waved blade, though.

I saw one like that in a Smoky Mountain Knifeworks catalogue. I think its even available in pearl.

You know, I think I'd like to add a pocket clip to traditional folder like that...maybe one of the orange G10 Case knives.

I thought I was the only one that ever had that thought.. Guess Im not a wierdo..(as much of one anyways)
 
Case has made peanuts with scissors, but I believe it's been a while since they did. I have seen a couple for sale online, I just can't remember where. You just have to dig around. Collectorknives.net has a couple "Big Nuts" available in their "newer discontinued Case knives" section, which has scissors, along with 4 blades. Kinda gonzo, but it is a peanut with scissors!
