This weekend as a birthday gift my wife took me to Toronto for the weekend to go to the home opener of my beloved Toronto Argonauts. ( Canadian Football League) along with a numbered jersey of my fav player, running-back Cory Boyd I was given this as part of the festivities.

Amber bone is real nice, fit and finish is perfect and SHARP! Whoa!
Hasn't left my pocket since I walked out of the store with it.
Thought I would share with you all. Real excited about this little guy. My first peanut.

Happy B-day, my first peanut was a birthday present too, not as nice as your's is, but it still had that peanut feel.

I love that amber bone Great looking knife, I restarted my peanut path today and I'm hoping to stick to it for a while.
I did it before, and I can do it again.

Hey Yobbos, does that nut have CV?
I think that amber bone paired up with a couple nice patina stained blades would look amazing.
But, I love Case's SS too.

Funny you should ask. I looked at two amber bone peanuts in the shop, the first was CV and had a bit of blade play so I asked to look at another. the guy said he only had the two so when the second one seemed perfect I snapped it shut and dropped it in my pocket while my wife went off to pay for an empty box.;) Two hours later, I got the chance to spend some quality time with my new knife and realized then it was SS. No matter, still special to me.

That's a really nice peanut!
I don't know if it's a trick of the light in the photo, but that amber bone looks like stag.
Happy birthday :)

Happy first 'nut! ;) & Happy B'day!

Huge congratulations on the new 'nut!:thumbup:

I used to think stag was the cat's meow, but after toting my amber bone around, I've grown very biased to the material. The jigged bone is a nice grip, and being bone, I don't have to worry over any inconsistancies in the material from side to side to side.

May you use it in good health.

Of course, you do realize that this may be first of a pack of peanuts. You can't have just one!

Carl.

Good looking peanut. I find I really like the amber bone series. My latest peanut (my second Case) is a stag handled, clamshell packed version for sale at Lowe's. I couldn't resist it. I'm wanting a slim trapper now.

Yobbos1, congratulations! Case peanuts are very well made and great users too. Enjoy your new knife!

Ed, is this the Appalachian Trail brand single blade peanut? It is a nice little knife.

I hear you. I'm waiting on a new Amber Bone 'nut to come in, making it my third Case peanut within the span of 8 months. It's a sickness!

I have the twin to that peanut. Mine was an anniversary gift about five years ago. It is my work EDC.

I got my first amber bone last Christmas, a gift from my grandparents.
It really looks good on that nut though, maybe I should run up to the hardware store and grab one?

I find myself visiting this post just to see that peanut in all it's glory.
Maybe we can see some more pics?

Thanks for the kind words and B-day wishes all. I took a couple more shots of the knife today, not as pristine as it was, I put it to work today (performed beautifully BTW).

Opened some packaging, sharpened pencils, scored some lumber for cutting, even sliced bagels and cut a sandwich in half. I think this one is a keeper, I didn't feel under-knifed all day.

I am carrying my yellow handled Case Peanut today and pared it with a yellow handled Sodbuster Jr. I love the peanut and can't wait to pick one up that looks like yours. Nice blade man.
