I found and traded for what I thought was an old peanut. (see post number 1586, Cult of the Peanut, page 80, for pictures).
I just measured it, and with a closed length of 3 1/4 inches (maybe 3 5/16, I don't have the greatest tapemeasure) I'm not so sure it is a peanut. What is the cutoff closed length for a peanut and a dog leg jack? Below x it is a peanut, at or over x it is a dog leg?

If anyone can shed light on the brand and approx. age of the knife, any info is greatly appriciated.

"MADE IN USA" is all I can find on the main blade.
On the other side of "USA" on the pen blade is some exceptionally small 2 line cursive stamping, with the number 24.
Exceptionally small as in size 01 or possibly 0.5 font. If I had a magnifying glass ...

Can you post a pic of the 2 line cursive stamping?
