As evidenced by the "Cult of the peanut" thread, there is love out there for these coin-pocket (<3 in.) wonders.

I'd like to branch out from Case by getting some vintage examples from other manufacturers, but it would make it easier if I had model numbers. I particularly like swaged models.

I'm aware of:

Schrade 272/72
Remington R1653

What else falls in this category?

Small 3" and under peanuts / dog leg / serpentine jacks are extremely common patterns. Most companies made them... most made several with different pattern numbers. There are more examples from Remington than the single pattern number listed in the first post. It would take at least a couple hours to go through catalogs and find all of the pattern numbers and unfortunately it would have limited use.

If you are looking for "low hanging fruit" and have an alert set up for certain pattern numbers as search terms, you'll probably get some hits. But you will be missing a lot of knives. The usefulness would be limited because not all companies marked the pattern numbers on the knives. Also, not all sellers list the pattern numbers.

If you are looking for a particular pattern number, I might be able to find it. But I would not be able to list all of them.
