jwatts3, I don't understand very well that he/she asks me; I don't speak English and the translator sometimes makes errors. If he wants to wonder something, he can try to change the question.

Montejano makes the knives and does the engraving/inlays. Look at some of his other posts, they will blow you away. There is even one or two showing how he does it all.
 
Simply stunning. I have NEVER seen anything like that done with a blade.

Have you ever worked with damascus of any kind? I'd love to see what you cold do with it.

The beauty and this level of detail are uncommon in the USA. They are very ornate and hold a religious quality to them--as if they were made for great ceremony.

I appreciate your time and translated Spanish. The words are almost unecessary, the wonder speaks loud enough! :D

Amigo Andrew , después de llevar bastantes años grabando y haciendo cuchillos ; le comunico que no he trabajado el acero de damasco , porque en España , no se emplea normalmente . He pensado buscar algún trozo y empezar ha hacer pruebas ; pero como no se utiliza en España , abandoné la idea y me centro en otros tipos de acero .Es posible que quedara muy bonito trabajado el acero de damasco .

Amigo Coop , nosotros ya nos conocemos por el otro foro y te agradezco tus palabras .Te felicito por tus trabajos y por todo lo que nos muestras en el foro .

In the first place, thanks to all the friends, appreciation a lot their respectful words on my work. In this forum there is people's participation.
Friend Andrew, after taking enough years recording and making knives; I communicate him that I have not worked the damask steel, because in Spain, it is not usually used. I have planned to look for some piece and to begin he/she is necessary to make tests; but I eat it is not used in Spain, I abandoned the idea and I center myself in other steel types. it is possible that it was very beautiful worked the damask steel.

Friend Coop, we already know each other for the other forum and I thank you your words. I congratulate You for your works and all told what you show us in the forum.
