Here is a quick shot taken of a Pease with Mammoth scales, shot with my Fuji S7000, lovely handle eh?

I use a Bogen 3059 with a camera seen here at B&H photo also here on the Bogen site

I have a camera mount fastened to one end of that arm.

What this allows you to do, is mount it to your tripod, you can then extend over the table to get a more direct downward look onto what you are wanting to photograph, instead of shooting from the side.

Had a request to show it mounted on my tripod, so I mounted my Canon EOS 1n camera with the 85mm lens and shot that with my Fuji S7000 pardon the messy table, I just setup a piece of white packing foam as a backdrop to help show the sidearm and camera mounted;

So check out one of those side arms, you may need an adapter to mount it to your tripod, a reducer type of thing.

Hey Gary, That is a great photo setup. I need to upgrade my tripod I think. Your photographs are getting as good as your leather work, and you know that is a compliment.

That Pease is a beauty. Plus WD is a Kentucky boy, so you know that is a plus for me. ;)

Thanks guys and yep Paul, figured that would make you proud ;)

Here are two other of his knives also shot in the same manner tonight, all three of these belong to my friend Win Heger, good dude that went out west, go figure, left the cold of NJ? :cool:

A little Sheep Horn, rascally radical grain on this one!

A little Black Palm wood scales here, neat stuff;

Great photos, Gary. I know everyone knows that G2 is a great sheathmaker and a good photographer but more important to me he's a good friend.

The Palmwood on the Tanto has great figure as it was cut in the bias, tough to photograph. I just checked that is only the 15th Tanto Mr. Pease has made, pretty rare.

Nice knives and pics. The mammoth handle is beautiful and I love the blade shape on that little ironwood number. :)
