Peculiar looking folding knives.

Your link seems to answer your question. The knife is an Atwood. He is well known for making small pry bar tools. Your post may be seen as "deal spotting" which is frowned upon, btw.

Sorry. I'm not trying to "deal spot". I have no connection to atwood at all.

Just thought it was a cool looking knife. Just wondering if anyone knew any other knives that looked like that.

And if people had their own peculiar looking knives to add to the thread.

Just a heads up. I don't even know if it's an active auction item. E bay can be a touchy subject on these forums. I didn't think you were attempting to break the rules. You could probably get a similar/identical knife from Atwood, but it may not be cheap.

Benchmade's Harley Davidson version of the Benchmite comes close.

I don't think that was a deal spotting infraction. Auction ended I believe. Just contact Atwood and he'll hook you up, although it may be a wait from what I hear. keepem sharp

My apologies to the OP for messing up the thread. It could turn out to be a good one. I don't know much about Ebay or how it works. Photos of peculiar knives? Anyone?

I always thought the Kershaw External Toggle was pretty weird looking:

The Spyderco Vagabond was an interesting design; I don't think it was odd-looking---if you removed the integral sheath, it would essentially be like any other normal fixed knife.

I'm sure a lot of people will say Spyderco has unique looking designs, but I think they're purely functional. The Civilian is quite a card with its vicious, curving blade. It's one of my favorites to carry as a backup to any firearm, though.

The Kershaw ET for sure.

CRKT has a bunch of unusual ones too: Rolox, Van Hoy Snap Lock, Turtle, My Tighe, Glide Lock.

Take a look at that bottom knife in the Norton photo doesn't it look like a shark or some kinda fish when it is opened?

well spotted, Mike.

This model is called a "Queue de carpe" Nontron. Meaning, "carp tail"...

Nontrons are very nice in my opinion. Knives with a lot of history.

I also like that Atwood UFO folder!!
Peter doesn't really make knives anymore, although I wish he would.
