Pelican 1900

Hey,

I have a Pelican 1900 flashlight that I recently uncovered in a box. When I turn it on, I get this:

Is this normal or did I draw a defective light?

It doesn't seem normal since there's a reflector inside a housing

If possible, you might want to speak to Pelican if they offer warranty.

Yea...I e-mailed them after checking a couple other Pelican lights I have laying around...just seemed odd to me.

If that's normal I sure don't plan on buying one of their lights.

Got ahold of Pelican. They are sending me a new shroud. We shall see if this fixes things.

Your reflector is out of whack or the bulb is set wrong in the head. Does it twist to adjust the depth of the bulb?

Mag-lites look like this when they are not adjusted correctly.

No...it just twists on and off. No way to adjust the head. Also. the bulb/reflector is one unit.

that isn't right I have several and they all throw good focused spots
