I'm getting a Gareth Bull warlock within the next month or two and have decided to get a case for it.

Which pelican case would you guys recommend for a smaller folding knife plus an extra scale and a little extra space for what ever else. The knife looks to be around the size of a Spyderco native and a small sebenza.

I would like foam in the case as well.

thanks in advance

I recommend getting yourself a Maxpedition Razorshell. I have my Demko AD10 in there. It's tough as nails tht case. Pelicans are ok, but the smaller ones break quite easily.

I'm looking for a hard case, and durability isn't a huge necessity as I'm just storing it in it and stacking other knife boxes on top.

Pelican 1030 with foam

Ill look it up. Thanks.

Otterbox also has similar cases like Pelican. Some are a little different dimensions than the smaller pelican ones. A little longer.

My best advice is to wait until you have everything you want to put into the case, then look online and find the right size. FYI the liner of the smaller pelican cases is also the seal, so it has to be in there, and could make foam fitting a bit challenging, where as the otterboxes have a separate o-ring. you may find that your choice is limited once you have the size figured out.
Wolf, I've never seen a broken pelican case, what did you have to do to kill one?

I'd recommend a Pelican 1020-1040 with pick 'n' pluck foam.
RevDevil- I've never been able to break my 1010, and I'm not exactly gentle with it in the least. How have your microcases broken?

This is the case Gareth supplies if you order a kit, mine arrived today. It's made in USA so you should be able to find it there.

Take a look at the Pelican Storm iM2050 Case. I really like the latches and hinges on the Hardigg Stormcases. The latches are worlds easier to open and close then the similar Pelican.
