You can find a review of the M6 here. I don't own one, but I have handled one. It is a solidly built light, and I hear that it has some pretty good throw, and of course it's very affordable. Someone else will probably have a lot more to say, though--I'm still a newbie flashaholic.
I've had a Pelican M6 for a few months. After I shone it in my brother's face I had to order one for him as well He got the black version and mine is the silver one.
It seems pretty rugged though I tend to keep it in the tough little cordura case. I was surprised to find how light it is for the size. It is very well constructed, there's some precise machining there. It is simple to operate, focussing the beam is precise and easy, I like the 'Constant On' or 'Momentary On' option and I definitely like how bright the thing is.
I'd be interested to know how it compares to a Surefire of similar size and specification because it certainly seemed cheaper.
I have one. It's a sturdy, solid and Bright light. I like my Surefire a little more, but for the money it's a great buy. I wish it had a clip like my Surefire. It did come with a decent holster.
I got a black one. It is supposed to have the longest throw of any 2x123 cell battery. I haven't done any testing besides the "blind myself" test I usually perform with a new light. One good point to consider with this light is that the replacement bulbs are under six bucks.
Hope this helps.
