I just bought a pelican flashlight and have a few of their hardcases and i will say this. these are the best cases on the planet. bar none! the US military uses them and their warantee is the best of any product i have ever heard of other than ATC. "You break it. We replace it. FREE. For life." you cant go wrong with their products. check em out if you arent familar with this company.

anyone own pelican products on board?
 
i like the light i got because of the warantee and the nice 5 bulb LEDs... plus it can go underwater. the cases are stellar though you are right
 
Yeap , I scored one of thier smaller lights a while back , thing stopped working , bought new batteries but no avail , called them up and they sent me a replacement FREE , didnt have to return the bad one or anything. Plus thier operator/customer service was top notch.

We're evaluating a couple of their new cases (1640). If that works out, we will be buying ~40 of those and the 1600s.

Everyone I've talked to so far is happy with them.
