what kind of wood is that? The stripes go perfectly with the blade. I am really impressed with the hamon and finish. I go for the more traditional polish on hamons, but this one has a lot of visible activity even without it. I think that whole thing works together very well. Not sure about a raised clip on a hunter as a functional element, but it looks awesome.

As others have said, that is a very fine knife. I especially like the texturing on the guard.

When he finishes this knife he will start on another just like it, but with an Elmax blade and carbon fiber grip...which will be my user

He will also make me a mini me/hunter, a smaller necker version of the knife above, same W1 with the same type hamon, same tiger wood, so it will be a set
