I saw this and had to share. As far as I know this is not concidered an AOW ...yet.

http://stingerpengun.com/ You gotta admit it has a gadget factor rating of 10.

That's an unfinished DDR/Knifekits.com GPC-1000 on the side. You can see that the carbon fiber scales haven't been contoured yet (they're still flat). They were even ground flat at the pointy end, though the liners weren't and stick out past the carbon fiber. I really don't see why they went through the trouble to do that, if they're not willing to go through the trouble of sanding the top of the scales to at least fit the bolster.

Maybe it's supposed to be a kit.

You got me. I think this one is a rough draft. They are not out in production yet. I know the pen guns themselves have some thought put into them. At least they made it with carbon fiber scales instead of a Zytel handle folder type. No worries as they will probubly snuff this thing by the time its ready.

yikes...that seems a little dangerous to have in the pocket :). neat none the less.

I've seen the pen/gun as a separate stand alone unit. Actually pretty well engineered item. They call it a Stinger. I can imagine it would "sting" your hand if you shot it. IMO sticking a knife on the side would negate the practicality of the unit.

Don't get me wrong the word useless comes to mind to. Well maybe if you couldn't cut a rope you could shoot it. Or If you ran out of ammo during your "Hunting trip" you could use the knife. :P I like it cause its different and not classified as an (Any Other Weapon) A gadget I'd put aside after one day at the range I'm sure.

-- Dizos--The Stingers don't sting much in the .22 or .25 cals. I never experienced the .380.
