Hey, what ever happened to the half dozen Pen Knife Khuks?

My reason for asking is I have a desire to fulfil Pen's design req's for the handle carving and blade etching. Without those touches, the design was never fully realized b4 production was put on hold.


So, anyone? Thoughts? Bueller? Bueller?

I have one Ferrous, what do you want to know? It certainly needs a polish after scraping off the small rust spots from typhoon season. I'll send it to you if you want a canvas to work on for a while :)
 
You want to do what to my Pen Knife?!! Just kidding Keith, I'd sure like to see one after you've worked your magic. But I like mine just the way it is. I specifically asked Uncle to send me the rustiest one in the bunch because I was going to work it, and work it hard. He did, and I have. It just gets better with use, and in spite of the pitting, the blade now gleams like a shiny new dime. Too late Keith, I've already gotten way too attached to it just the way it is.

I too have left my pen knife in it's current state for practical reasons. However, there is something up my sleeve in the not-too-distant future and it does involve a wood model...:D :eek:

Mike's has been put to good use and I doubt he'd want the carvings either.

Still, keep your eyes peeled...;)
 
Well, sounds like mPisi is in. Perhaps I could work on his, and then get some pix, and then you'll all be sooo jealous! Ask N2S about my work--he actually owns the 21" GS that I blued with the 3-suns pattern!

mPisi, gimme a month or so, then I'll contact you and we can eail eacdh other about logistics. Since yours is the pilot, I'll do it fer next to nuthin, and I can promise it'll be cooler than it was. Look back at Pen's original thread for an Idea of the original ethch and carve details....

Sounds good, I'd love to have a sample of your work. I can ship it off whenever you want, it's itching for some TLC.
 
Careful, I'll bet he's gonna put one of those Nordic women in a scanty costume riding a polar bear on it. Then what'll you do?
