Is the Case 6233 RSC the only one?

I've had a hankerin' for one since the scissors on a SAK classic are so handy at times, and it being close in size to my peanuts perfectness... I'd just carry the SAK Classic, but they just don't do it for me, as a Traditional knife without bolsters and bone or at least jigging.

Anyway, is the Case it, or do i have options in current or recent(like fairly easy to get) production?

Wow, I've never seen that before. That's kind of neat. I've seen some slipjoints that come with pliers, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were more companies making some with scissors.

Schrade 707UH "Gambler" ,older USA models can be found on a certain auction site. They are not the most common model out there, however.

For those on a budget, or just want to try the pattern, Taylor Brands has "revived" this model with their current Schrade marked import line.

Case also made basically the same knife in Mammoth Ivory, Pearl, and India Amber Stag. Maybe more?

Schrade (USA) :Dalso makes a Old Timer model 106OT w/scissors. It is bascially a model 104OT that has the added scissors;) I carry one in my watch pocket SUPER handy little pair of scissors (stainless) w/ 1095 carbon steel knife blades!!!

Hi,

I like the Case except for the bail. They are a pretty pattern too. Not to mention useful. They make a wonderful Gentleman's Knife. I haven't shown this one off for a while, so....

.. Gary you bring up a great point here in this thread and a very useful knife indeed. I like the Pen knife with the scissors pattern..

But, my favorite little edc knife with scissors is this 3 inch(closed) small Teardrop Jack knife produced by Bulldog in that vintage Cowboy-Rope Celluliod, built around ten or eleven years ago. I traded her for an older Schrade Old Timer small Stockman with 3 carbon(1095) steel blades..

.. They really did this one up right. Because its got a nice 2 3/8 inch scissors(same length as the blade) and this pair of scissors is hair popp'n sharp same as the blade. That is the way both the blade and the scissors came too. Also the scissors has a good tight lever spring that works well, not like some other scissors you get with pocket knives that are wimpy. Best scissors on a slippy hands down I've ever used. Also the blade has some nice features like a good swedge, a long pull with matchstriker design and best of all its good hi-carbon steel that takes and holds an edge just like CV. The snap on both blades is around a 8.5 to 9.0 in hard and fast action and its one of those knives that you can hear the echo across the room.

The only other knife that even comes close is this Case Peanut SFO at 2 3/4 inches closed and SS w/Mother of Pearl..

I got it for my daughter at Bass Pro Shops 'bout four or five years ago as a gift. She liked the MOP scales and the bail. She wanted it to be used for her house key ring. They do have a decently passable pair of scissors but not even close to the Bulldog in durability and they take double the amount of sharpening maintanence. However, I've got to admit I do dig the cool bail this Peanuts got. :D  but the cost was $100.00 +.

Both the Case and the BullDog look really good. Here is Bucks discontinued edition. Fairly often on 'that' auction site. Black scale most common, girl colors rare....The red sawcut has a Wenger scissor, the best cutter of the bunch. When they were new they came with a split ring attachment and split ring for attaching to key rings...

Wow!!!! Now there are some nice Buck slipjoints you just don't see every day.  Very, Very  brother!. Thanks for showing these..

Just showed my Daughter these and she is love'n the chick colors. Especially the Purple scales. :D :D

Wow, wow, Wow... lots of choices... Sweet!

I don't have a Schrade anything (I know, I know) yet, so that'd kill 2 knives with one buy... Hmm.

I'm definetally gonna be looking for the bulldog, I like that... nice long pen/spear blades are nice to use.. that handle material ain't bad either!

That peanut with scissors and bail is Fabulously  ! Not sure if I'd like the bail or not honestly, but but a nut with scissors is exactly what I had in mind... I can just see how hard/spendy it's turn out to be to find another one of those though.

Can't say as I've ever seen that many colored bucks in one place before... That looks nice too... Esp. in Red!

Lol... OK, looks like I'll probably gain a whole collection of these..

Thanks ye gents for the ideas and great pics!
