I know a few of you like fine pens. Do any of you know where I can get some pens repaired?

There are more than a few specialist shops that will do repairs and restorations. Knowing the make and necessary repair will help with a more solid recommendation. If it's a matter of replacement parts vs. a full restoration, for instance - and whether the value of the pen is worth the cost.

I have worked with Century Pens, here in Chicago before. But there are many online who do excellent work as well. I just happen to be local to Century.

I guess I never thought to ask here but, it's probably as good a place, if not better, than most others now that I think about it! I have a Matthew Martin Titanium & CF pen that got pretty scratched up in my pocket a while back. I thought about just getting a Scotchbrite pad and trying to rub the rubs out but, does anyone else have any experience/suggestions/ideas that might be better?

Parker has a 2 year warranty. So I'd try them first. If it is older than that, there are specialists who do parker only.

Parker Collector recommends Gallery 9926 - at least for Parker Fountain pens http://parkerpens.net/gallery9926/index.html

I cannot personally vouch for them, but the price list sounds pretty reasonable. Might be worth contacting to ask if he'll work on yours, of if he has a suggestion.

The sonnet cisele ball point is a twist mech, right? That's the basket weave pattern, beautiful pen. Normally it's a timing issue but can also be a build up of pocket grime.

I would start with the recommendations that Liam has offered. I've used Richard Binder in the past, but he's retired and no longer taking work that I know of.
