I have Schrade Walden, NY 3in 14k gold single blade with nail file. It has a pull out telescoping pencil.
Any information about this knife would be appreciated.

It is pretty hard to tell what it is without a picture or a model number.

Can you post a picture?

This is a saved image sent to me by another member. Is this like the one you are looking for information about?

CODGER 64 That is a picture of the knife I have. Do you have any more info about it?
Thanks alot

No, sorry. I haven't seen this particular pattern before. I did look thru the old Cut Co catalogs.

You want me to give it a guess? The knife may have started it's life as a skeleton bought by a jeweler who made the finished knife. But I have no proof of that.

Is the knife handle or pencil marked in any way, inside or out?

ETA: The eBay listing was headed 14k Gold Schrade Cut CO FOlding Pocket Knife W/ 14k Pencil, not Schrade Walden.

If you haven't noticed, our thread list has been cropped to about two pages of so. The other pages have been archived, I think, and are still accessable for those who have the search feature.

I am bumping this post because I hope to have additional information in the next few days on this gold knife/pencil combination. It is entirely possible that I have found the suspect in the manufacturing and sale of such gold specialty knives for many years based on Schrade skeletons.

...getting closer....so where would they get the pattern for something as intricate as the Calendar knife.....could it have been "commissioned" by someone like Albert himself who is reputed to have had one in solid 14K like mine?.The calendar is distinctly heavier than even the 'Gentlemans' knife which Schrade Walden stated in their Fortune Advert of 1947 was solid 14K Gold.I guess they <Lamberts> could copy anything including making the pencil knife if it was not in the standard Cut Co range? What do you think Sherlock Codger?..Hoo Roo
