Pending gold upgrade

How long does it typically take for a gold membership to take effect? I upgraded last night, but haven't been able to upgrade in the group membership section of my user CP. Does it sometimes take a few days? Just curious...

If you used the automated system, it should be immediate.
 
Your drop down thingy doesn’t give me the option to send a PM so I don’t think it’s a matter of simply changing your user group.
 
If you are not a US resident, and therefore could not use the automated system, it might take a day or two until Spark manually activates your membership.

And congrats on the upgrade!

Nope, I've been living in the good ol' USA all my life. And this is a re-up, just took a day or two of deliberation to decide to come back to the fold. FWIW, I'm not getting the option of changing my user group in my user CP:grumpy: What's more, I can see under "subscriptions" that I'm paid up for gold as of yesterday. I have no idea what more needs to be done:confused: Spark! Help!!
