Does the MT have a finished back-blade edge?

What is the penetration capability of the MT v. the Tanto style blades? I don't want to put my own blades through battlefield tests of metal and flak jkts if the testing has already been accomplished.

Yes the MT has a sharpenned false edge.
It penetrates well.
A tanto just has a stronger tip.
